What is the Chester Field of Dreams?

The Chester Field of Dreams Non-Profit is an organization dedicated to raising money to be used in the development of new fields in the Wason Pond Recreation land. 

The project team is dedicated to building a green-friendly environment, free from large structures, lights or other obstructions.

A little over a year ago I had joined the Chester Field of Dreams as a board member and helped develop a website to establish an online presence for the organization. 

Recently I had to step down due to schedule conflicts and in an effort to keep the Chester Field of Dreams website easily maintainable, I converted the static HTML over to a CMS based site.  Chester Field of Dreams also has a Facebook page and Twitter page.

Chester Field of Dreams Golf Tournament

The Chester Field of Dreams board is organizing what it hopes to be the first of many golf tournaments to raise money.  The tournament will be held Saturday, May 22, 2010 between 8am-2pm at Candia Woods Golf Links.  

Designed By Day will be sponsoring the "Longest Drive" contest and Weddings By Day videography will be sponsoring one of the 18 golf holes.  Sponsorship money goes diretly towards the building of these new fields.  For more information about playing in the tournament, sponsoring the tournament or the Chester Field of Dreams project, please visit www.chesterfieldofdreams.org.
